Selectech started operating at the time South Africas first free & fair elections took place in April 1994. This was a momentous occasion in the history of South Africa and similarly in the lives of staff and management of Selectech.

The years have brought challenges & rewards, growth & development to our company. Our dedicated staff continue to excel and grow, taking the company forward, year in and year out. Our working environment is results driven, while the positive effect of the commitment is clearly visible in the culture of the company.

Our aim is to remain a small growth orientated company, focused on our specialised niche markets; where we can best add value for our customers. This strategy results in better customer relations and more repeat sales as customers feel confident in dealing with Selectech. Ultimately, we find our customers walk the long and winding road with us.

In South Africa we have country wide exposure by supplying independent regional dealers who sell on to their customers. Our dealer network is well established as we support them with the required product information and promotional material. Our export drive has proved particularly rewarding. We currently export to many sub-Saharan African countries as well as some Indian Ocean Islands. Remarkably, we have periodic exports to Malaysia & Vietnam.

Our operating infrastructure has always been strongly supported by our continued investment in IT. System development remains paramount as we expand efficiency while striving to retain our core focus. Our administration process is fluent as we have positively handled the exciting growth achieved since our inception.

The growth of Selectech has been underpinned by the continued product development of our principal supplier, The Tintometer Gmbh. This working relationship has assisted Selectech in opening the gateway to Africa, reaching numerous new export markets. Tintometer Gmbh's branded product Lovibond has now been firmly established in the Environmental & Water markets. The importance of good relationships with suppliers will always remain paramount to the success of Selectech. In turn, our Suppliers acknowledge the effort made in promoting their products and steadfastly support us. This well entrusted relationship has proved mutually beneficial to all parties.

We are thankful for the growth we have experienced and contribute annually to several charity organisations, including Action for the Blind, United Cerebral Palsy Association of SA, Endangered Wildlife Trust, Little Eden Children's Home, Mouth and Foot Painters, SOS Children's Village and The Salvation Army.
